About Capital Home Loans
On the 20th June 2025 Capital Home Loans ceased to operate as a mortgage servicer.
All live customer accounts were transferred to either:
- Jasper Mortgages (a trading name of Topaz Finance Limited);
- Azurite Mortgages (a trading name of Topaz Finance Limited); or
- Chetwood Financial Limited trading as CHL Mortgages (which is not affiliated with Capital Home Loans)
Each of these firms are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and, in the case of Chetwood Financial Limited, the Prudential Regulation Authority.
We have written to customers with a mortgage or other debt who have been affected by these transfers with details about the change. Please refer to the letter that has been sent to you, advising where your account has been transferred to.
CHL Mortgages for Intermediaries Limited (which trades as CHL Mortgages) is a separate company and is not an affiliate of Capital Home Loans Limited. For all enquiries please contact them via their website which is chli.co.uk and is for intermediary use only.

- I have repaid my mortgage but Capital Home Loans (or Promontoria (Vantage) Limited) still holds a legal charge on my property. How do I get this removed?
If your mortgage was repaid before 20 June 2025, please contact:

with your name, the address where the charge is registered and any details you have of our legal charge e.g. Land Registry Office Copies. Once we have your details, we’ll arrange to have the charge removed if it’s one that we can remove.
The Land Registry will let us know when this has been done, and we’ll send on that confirmation to the person who contacted us.
If your mortgage was repaid after 20 June 2025, please contact your new lender using the details provided in the letter they have sent to you or the guide above.
- I have tried to make a payment (by cash/cheque/standing order/other method) which has not been processed/accepted
Capital Home Loans is a closed business and is no longer accepting any payments. Please contact your new lender using the details above.
- I have requested a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) or made a subject right request and haven’t yet received a response
Capital Home Loans no longer administers your account. We’ve written to you with details about who you need to contact. If you don’t have this letter, here is a guide:When you make a request. We aim to respond within one calendar month. This is in line with the regulatory timeframes allowed.
We are unable to give you an update if your request is still within these timeframes.

We’ll acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days of us getting it, and aim to reply to your complaint within 8 weeks.
