It’s important that you contact us as soon as you realise you may experience problems making your monthly payments. Contacting us won’t affect your credit rating. The sooner you talk to us, the sooner we can try to agree a suitable arrangement. If you’re struggling to make your mortgage payments we’d recommend you complete our online Income and Expenditure Form so we can better understand your circumstances and how we can best support you.
You can request help from us:
- By completing our online Income and Expenditure form
- By sending an email to our specialist team [email protected]
- Or if you would prefer to talk to someone – by calling our Specialist Servicing Team on 03330 148 048
(9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays)
Please note, if you are one or more months in arrears at the end of the month, your credit file may already be affected. If we are able to agree a suitable arrangement for you, this will be recorded on your credit file as an arrangement with your Lender.
The MoneyHelper has produced an online tool ‘Money Navigator’ to help people in financial difficulty. The aim of the tool is to signpost the best organisations to contact for specialist support. For most people, it makes sense to pay essential expenses and priority debts before any discretionary expenses or non-priority debts. To support with this, you can also use guides such as the MoneyHelper ‘How to Prioritise your debts’ page. It is a good idea to contact all your creditors to discuss repayments.
